The
term consumers need an overhaul. Consumers are now less of a
consumer. They now produce messages (positive and negative),
influences other people (Influmers), share information and
experience (sharers), create word of mouth (marketer), has the
potential to make and break a brand (destroyer) and more. And they
use media, in fact many of the emerging ones.
It doesn’t matter whether this trend lasts, but one thing is
certain this section of people is very difficult to interrupt by
a traditional method. Search engines have also started to trust
the user generated content. The solution is in reaching them
wherever they are and participating with them.
